Terms of service
Out of Office
January 28–31, 2027 · Frieden Resort, Saugatuck, Michigan
Payment and your place
Your reservation is a one-time payment of $2,700 for one place at the retreat. Once your payment is complete, your spot is officially yours. Spots are reserved in the order completed bookings are received.
What happens after you pay
Your retreat agreement, a questionnaire, and a welcome email arrive right after payment. The welcome email explains what to expect over the coming months and includes a link to purchase travel insurance. The complete terms are in the retreat agreement, which you sign as part of your guest questionnaire.
Cancellations and refunds
We have partnered with two companies to provide extensive coverage at very affordable rates. If you follow through with your end of the work and purchase travel insurance, you will be covered during your retreat, or your investment will be reimbursed if you can no longer attend.
Photography and your images
Photography is one element of the guided creative exercise, not a traditional portrait session. Your clothing, participation, and privacy choices will be discussed clearly and respected throughout. You will not be required to undress or permit public use of your images.
What is not included
Transportation to and from the retreat, alcoholic beverages, optional services, and personal purchases are not included unless explicitly stated.
