Retreat agreement
Out of Office
January 28–31, 2027 · Frieden Resort, Saugatuck, Michigan
This agreement is between you (the “Guest”) and The Human Solution (“we,” “us”), which hosts Out of Office with Mod Bettie and Urban You. You accept it by checking the agreement box and typing your name in the guest questionnaire.
1. Your reservation
Your $2,700 payment reserves one place at the retreat: three nights in a private room, the meals, services, and programming described on outofofficeretreat.com. Getting to and from the retreat is up to you; we don’t provide transportation.
2. Cancellations and refunds
Payments are non-refundable. Please buy the travel insurance linked in your welcome email; it is your protection if you can’t attend. If we cancel the retreat, we will refund you in full or, if you prefer, move your place to a future date.
3. Your needs
Please tell us about dietary needs, allergies, and any mobility needs in your questionnaire. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but we can’t guarantee every need can be met or that meals are completely allergen-free.
4. Personal-care services
Personal-care services are provided by Urban You, which will ask you to sign its own service agreement. You may decline any service.
5. Not therapy
The retreat includes guided reflection and group conversation. It is not therapy or medical care. You choose what you share.
6. Photography
You choose your level of participation and visibility in the creative experience. We won’t share images of you publicly without your separate written permission.
7. Participation and responsibility
You take part in all activities, including the sauna, hot tub, and walks outdoors, voluntarily and at your own risk, and you may opt out of anything. You’re responsible for your belongings, for any damage you cause, and for following the venue’s rules. To the extent the law allows, you release the hosts from claims arising from your participation, except where caused by our gross negligence, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
8. Respect
Please treat everyone with respect and keep what other women share confidential. We may ask a guest who seriously disrupts or endangers others to leave, without a refund.
This agreement is governed by Michigan law.
